Myeloperoxidase (MPO) is a heme-based peroxidase enzyme responsible for antimicrobial activity against a wide range of organisms. It has also been found to be correlated with increased oxidative stress and decreased levels of catalase activity. The OxiSelect Myeloperoxidase Chlorination Activity Assay Kit is a quantitative, fluorometric assay for measuring the myeloperoxidase peroxidation activity within a sample.

- Shipping temperature: Room Temp
- Storage temperature: Upon receipt, store the Fluorescence Probe and the Resorufin Standard at -20ºC. The Fluorescence Probe is light sensitive and must be stored accordingly. Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles. Store the remaining kit components at 4ºC.
